By downloading, installing or using RasanAi ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Testware Informatics Pvt Ltd.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RasanAi, an AI-enabled cooking application developed and owned by Testware Informatics Pvt Ltd. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
RasanAi and all its components — including but not limited to the software, source code, design, user interface, graphics, logo, brand name, recipe database, AI models, and all content — are the exclusive intellectual property of Testware Informatics Pvt Ltd.
- All IP rights are fully reserved with Testware Informatics Pvt Ltd.
- The RasanAi name, logo and brand are proprietary marks of the Company
- Protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999 of India
- International IP protection applies under the Berne Convention and TRIPS Agreement
⚠️ You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the App without express written permission from Testware Informatics Pvt Ltd.
3. License to Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on your personal device solely for your personal, non-commercial cooking and meal planning purposes.
4. Subscription & Payments
RasanAi offers a free tier and an optional Pro subscription:
- Subscription fees are charged through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- Refunds are governed by the respective app store's refund policy
- Pro features are activated immediately upon successful payment
- Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at time of purchase
5. AI Features & Disclaimer
RasanAi uses artificial intelligence for recipe suggestions, meal planning and cooking assistance. By using these features, you acknowledge:
- AI-generated content is for informational and inspirational purposes only
- Recipe suggestions and nutritional information should be verified independently
- We are not liable for allergic reactions, dietary issues or health consequences arising from AI suggestions
- Users with specific dietary requirements, allergies or medical conditions should consult a qualified professional
- AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate — use your own judgment
6. User Content
When you import, upload or create recipes in the App ("User Content"), you:
- Retain ownership of your User Content
- Grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it within the App for your personal use
- Warrant that you have the right to use any content you import
- Agree not to import content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal, fraudulent or unauthorised purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App
- Use automated scripts or bots to access the App or our servers
- Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the App or its content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the App or its related systems
8. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Testware Informatics Pvt Ltd. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including:
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy or completeness of recipe or nutritional content
- Compatibility with all devices or operating systems
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Testware Informatics Pvt Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or personal injury.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Testware Informatics Pvt Ltd. and its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the App and contacting us to erase your data.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
